More bus services in Spalding town centre

The company that’s taken on the Spalding town buses has launched more services.

Black Cat Travel’s changes came into force on Tuesday (January 3).

It took on the service, previously held by Brylaine, last year.

A Black Cat spokesman said: “We are pleased to announce that in conjunction with Lincolnshire County Council we are increasing the number of daily bus services around Spalding.

“We’re starting earlier and finishing later with buses to the Wardentree Lane industrial estate and Johnson Hospital from 6.15am.

“Our routes have changed slightly in the order of service, however all the stops we currently cover are still served.

“We’ve made these route changes to improve time keeping after monitoring our services since we started operating them in September. “

The company is taking part in the £2 adult single and £1 child single ticket offer through January and says it’s also launched a day and weekly ticket.

“Thank you everyone in Spalding for making us feel welcome and for the feedback. It’s nice to know we’re making a difference.”
