LETTERS – No need to use farm land

I was shocked to read in this week’s edition of The Voice about plans for a massive solar farm that would occupy about 2,700 acres of land north of Crowland, capable of powering 215,000 homes.
There is no need for farm land to be built on, the answer is to put solar panels on every new house, factory, hospital, whatever.
