Spalding United have snapped up Gareth Jellyman and Nick Conroy as player/coaches as they begin their summer signing spree.
Tulips chief Pat Rayment has moved swiftly to snap-up former Peterborough United and Boston United full-back Jellyman, who spent last season with Corby Town.
The 33-year-old, who made more than 100 appearances for Posh in the Football League, is expected to fill the left back void left by Adam Jackson and the coaching spot vacated by Danny Hussey.
Keeper Conroy, meanwhile, returns to the Sir Halley Stewart Playing Field from Peterborough Northern Star. He will act as goalkeeping cover for Michael Duggan, as well as playing a key role on the training ground.
Rayment also revealed that Josh Ford and Ross Watson have left the club.
He said: “Both lads are massive signings for the club and bring experience and ability on and off the pitch.”
