Golfers look to lower the stroke rate

Margaret Fox, Nicky Elphick and Fid Cropper were the joint winners as Sutton Bridge Club’s Ladies section rounded off a fine year of events with the Christmas Bring and Take.

The trio could not be separated at the top of the Texas scramble medal format friendly competition.

After the competition a presentation of £865 raised by the members of the ladies section during the year, was made to Kate Yeadsley, a representative of the local branch of the charity Stroke Association.
