Tydd have their first win of the Dor-Jan Peterborough and District Premier League season thanks to a Bradley Easey hat-trick.
They beat Oundle Town 3-2 away from home with Easey’s strikes coming in the 34th, 59th and 81st minutes.
The win moves Tydd off the bottom where they’ve been replaced by Ramsey Town who were beaten 4-1 by Moulton Harrox.
Declan Earth, Louis Steadman, Joe Townsend and sub Ian Bradbury all scored to give Harrox a comfortable win that puts them sixth in the table.
They’re just ahead of Crowland Town who pushed league leaders FC Peterborough all the way but narrowly lost out 2-1.
The table topping home side made it ten wins out of 11 so far this season but Danny Firth’s second half goal made a game of it for the visitors.
All of the Premier League sides are in Junior Cup action this coming weekend with Crowland hosting Nunsthorpe, Tydd facing a long trip to Grimsby Borough Reserves amd Moulton at Northgate Olympic.
In the Spalding Inter Services Cup, Crowland Town Reserves were 2-1 winners over Long Sutton Athletic.
Kieran Norbury scored on 19 minutes and Mantas Paskevicius on 49 to best Arron Pike’s strike for Sutton.
Holbeach United Sports were victors 3-0 at home to Sutton Bridge United.
Corey Compton, Kelvin Ibeneme and Connor Bell all scored against a Sutton side who finished with ten men after Jake Lally’s red card for a second bookable offence in the match.
Tydd Reserves also finished with ten men, but they thrashed Swineshead Reserves 5-1.
Daniel Cassidy and Ricky Holstead both struck at the double with Nick Ainslie also scoring.
Patrick Cassidy was the Tydd player given his marching orders.
Over in the ChromaSport League Cup, Whaplode Drove Rovers and Long Sutton Athletic Reserves both progressed after extra time.
Mitchel Mcgowen scored twice and Alex Setchfield once as Whaplode Drove won 3-2 at Ketton and Casterton.
Jack Dicker and Martin Sandall netted for Sutton Reserves in a 2-2 draw before the home side went through 4-1 on penalties.
In Division One league action, Pinchbeck United Reserves lost 3-0 at Peterborough Polonia who moved above the Knights in the league table.
Finally there was a thriller in Division Four as Whaplode Drove Rovers Reserves Leverington Sports A drew 4-4.
Daniel Coleman, Cory Grimes, Kyle Larham and Darryl McKeeman all netted for Whaplode but the latter was sent off.
The home side held on for a fifth point of the season.
