Water taxi sets sail again

The summer season is officially here with the return of Spalding’s Water Taxi.

It had its 2026 launch on Easter Saturday and is set to run until September.

The Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Lincolnshire Annabel Ward said a few words and official opened the service.

She was joined by a host of local politicians.

A spokesman for the Spalding Water Taxi said: “It was a wonderful opening for 2026 with lots friends there to welcome us back.”

The taxi is running regularly from Fridays to Sundays and on Tuesdays.

There’s also self drive hire boats available.
