SADOS are back

Spalding Amateur Dramatic and Operatic Society (SADOS) are returning to the South Holland Centre stage.

And they’re bringing with them the modern day masterpiece Ghost the Musical from Wednesday to Saturday, November 9-12.

Rob Nicholls directs and Paul Coleman produces as the talented group presents the musical remake of the hit film.

A spokesman for the society, said: “After a three year break due to the COVID-19 pandemic, SADOS are really pleased and excited to be back on the South Holland Centre stage with a production of Ghost The Musical.

“Adapted from the 1990 hit film starring Demi Moore, Patrick Swayze and Whoopi Goldberg, and with book/lyrics by Bruce Joel Rubin and music by Dave Stewart and Glen Ballard, the musical follows lovers Sam and Molly whose lives are changed forever after Sam’s untimely death.

“Trapped between two worlds, Sam refuses to leave Molly and turns to store-front psychic Oda Mae Brown to help him protect Molly from grave danger and ultimately to avenge his death, Ghost The Musical is a poignant romance that builds comedy, suspense and deeply felt emotion into an ethereal climax that audiences will not forget.”

Tickets are £15 or £14 for bookings of over eight, and are available via the site: www.southholland
centre.co.uk or by ringing 01775 764777.
