Tennis round-up: Impressive victories for Spalding’s B and C teams

Spalding Tennis Club’s B and C teams enjoyed victories in the Peterborough and District League last week.

The B team won 6-3 in Division Two and were represented by Carl Newell, Mike Sitch, Jack Howard, Marius Skrebe, Dave Baldwin and Joe Gill.

In Division Three, the C side – made up of Michael and Mathew Pearl, Andy Rix, Ian Argent, John Constable and Richard Ebbage – were 7-2 winners.

Spalding’s under-18 boys had a great 10-2 win over Woodhall Spa under-18s.

However, Spalding lost their first game of the Peterborough and Huntington League season 8-0 against Needingworth.
