Stead pips Illsley and Racey to Hopper title

A tight finish to the Tydd St Giles Ladies Section’s Hope Hopper Stableford Trophy saw three players tie on 38 points.

Nicola Stead took the victory on countback from Sylvia Illsley and Sue Racey.
The Rabbits Trophy, for players with handicaps of 37-54, was won by Juliet Punshon with 38 points, ahead of Illsley, 34, and Chris Montague, 30.
