Pinchbeck Photographic Group are back hosting regular meetings and they have two interesting talks coming up this month.
The first at 7.30pm on Thursday April 20 is entitled ‘ Is Photography Art?; and being presented by Trina-Fitzalan-Howard MA.
A spokesman for the club said: “It’s a lighthearted romp through the topic that keeps us awake.
“Guaranteed not to answer it, but to lead you to your own conclusions and widen your view of art (perhaps).
There’s some adult themes, so the show is unsuitable for under 16s.
A week later the group hosts ‘100 Strangers by Phil Howcroft.
“Phil approaches strangers and asks permission to take their photo and tells the story behind the photo and the story behind the stranger,” the spokesman continued.
“Street photography and portraits come together for some interesting stories.
“It contains an eclectic mix of people photos reflecting the diverse world we live in.”
All sessions take place at the Pinchbeck Community. Entry for non-members is £4.
