Serious injuries after A16 closed following collision

Two people have been left with serious injuries after a road traffic collision closed the A16 north of Surfleet last night.

Three cars were involved in the collision that was reported to Lincolnshire Police at 5.38pm.

The road remained closed until 11pm.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Poilce, said: ” A man and a woman travelling in separate vehicles  both received serious injuries that are not believed to be life threatening.

“They were both taken to hospital.”
