Choir springs into abbey

A top choir is bringing the sounds of spring to Crowland Abbey.

The Gildenburgh Choir, of Peterborough, is putting on a spring concert at the historic church on Saturday, April 18 from 7.30pm.

The group celebrated its 70th anniversary last year.

The choir, whose musical director is Sean Douglas, will be accompanied by David Wheeler.

It’s free to enter and donations are requested on the night.
