Sensational 6-0 victory putsServices C firmly in top spot

A sensational 6-0 win for Services C has put them at the top of Division One in the Spalding and District Snooker League.

They beat Pyramid A, thanks to wins from Mark Spiller (O7) (twice), Geoff Hemsil (R21), Kev Fitter (O14) and Jordan Philpott (R7).
The win moves them from third into the top position.
Consti H have jumped from sixth to second, after they whitewashed the previous week’s leaders Services A 6-0.
Seb Grimston (O28), Adam Mayman (O28), Mark German (O35), Jon Houldershaw (R14) and Doug Garfoot (O21) were the winners for Consti.
Grimston knocked in breaks of 29 and 28 on his way to beating Vince Fitter (O42) and German got a 23 to help him get the better of Chris Dunmore (O35).
The loss drops Services down to seventh.
Bourne SC A drop from second to third, after suffering a 4-2 loss away at Holbeach C.
Holbeach took the first three frames courtesy of Dan Ashton (O7), Nick Edwards (R14) and Terry West (R7), before Bourne hit back thanks to Pete Hodgson-Kerry (O28) and Oliver Player (O35).
Consti E have moved up a spot after beating Donington C 4-2.
Wins came from Simon Law (scr), Jack Chilvers (O21) and Ben Peppercorn (O7), who got a 33 break on his way to a convincing 86-1 win over Ben Wrigglesworth (O35).
Holbeach B took on clubmates Holbeach D with the B team coming out on top.
Wins from Pete Mullane (O28), Adi Liquorish (R7) and Neil Harvey (O21) saw them to victory.
Consti G got a 4-2 home win over Pyramid C, thanks to wins from Ady Sibley (O35), Martin Deacon (O14) and Joe Garland (O7).
Spencer Dawkins (O56) and Reegan Cooke-Holmes (O21) got some consolation points for Pyramid.
The top two positions in Division Two remain the same with Holbeach A at the top.
They beat friendly foe Holbeach E 4-2 in a match that saw an excellent 69 clearance from Sean Swinburn (O56), as he got the better of Robert Coaten (R7).
Other winners for the A team were Derek Beba (R7) and Stuart Atkin (O42), who pocketed a 29 break.
Services B hold on to second place with a 5-1 victory at home to Donington A.
Jason Rose (O28), Fred Cummins (R14), Jeff Collins (R14) and Alan Hansard (scr) got the points for Services.
Boundary A have jumped from fifth to third, after a 5-1 win over Consti I.
Pete King (R7), Elliott Cox (R14), Tim Burrows (R14) and Dan Smith (O14) were the victors for Boundary, while David Twelves (scr) got the single point for Consti.
Pyramid E moved off the foot of the table by beating Holbeach F 4-2.
Steve Thompson (R7) and John Clapton (R7) started off well for Pyramid before Ben Harding (O42) and James Quinton (scr) levelled the scoreline.
Jeremy Radford (R7) took on Dan Mayfield (O28) in the decider, with Radford emerging the victor.
Consti B jumped six places to fourth after a 5-1 home win over Services D.
Darren Stanley (R28), Martin Fear (O7), Justyn Stanley (O7) and Mick Johnson (O28) took the first four frames and the win, before Russ Morse (scr) pulled one back for Services D.
Whittlesey C are sitting mid-table after losing 4-2 at home to Gosberton A – a result that could have gone either way due to three black ball games.
Carl Wand (scr), Adam Twigg (O14) and Jamie Mumby (O21) were the winners for Gosberton, while Paul Cook (O21) and Jason Bloomfield (O21) won for Whittlesey.
Down in Division Three, Donington are still leading, despite a 4-2 loss to clubmates Donington D.
Pat Taylor (R21) started the D team off with a win, before Pete Burrell (scr) hit back for the B team.
Paul Whyte (R14) put Donington D back in front, but Paul Stewart (R7) then evened the scoreline.
It was down to Alan Stanley (R7) to beat Darren Templeman (scr) in the decider to take the win.
Gosberton B are yet to get a win this season and sit firmly at the bottom of the table.
They lost 4-2 to friendly foe Gosberton D.
Neil Simmons (scr), Keith Langley (O14) and Deac Hempsall (R7) were the winners for the B team.
Consti J are just above Gosberton B with only one win so far.
They went down 4-2 away to Whittlesey A, thanks to wins from Graeme Sawyer (O14), Lance Clarke (R14) and Steve Jennings (O35).
Consti A took on clubmates Consti D, with the D team taking the spoils.
Winners were Martin Perkins (O21), Ray Digby (R28) and Tom Digby (R7).
Pyramid B jumped up to fifth thanks to a convincing 5-1 win over Gosberton C.
Gosberton started well with a win from Rob Lockett (R28) but it was downhill from there as Pyramid took the next four frames courtesy of Phil Cooke (R7), Dennis Pearson (scr), Carl Kelham (R7) and Richard Clark (scr).
