Wand finds scoreboard on debut

Former Spalding junior Will Wand scored on his Gallagher Premiership debut for Leicester Tigers on Saturday.
He came on as substitute in the Tigers’ 42-10 victory against Newcastle Falcons at Kingston Park and scored an interception try as Leicester earned a bonus-point win.
Wand, 22, left Coventry for Leicester during the summer but had been part of the pathways and development teams at Tigers.
The former Cambridge outside-centre scored 14 tries in 22 games for Coventry last season and was selected for the Championship’s Team of the Season.
