A ‘one-stop shop’ for veterans to highlight what services are available is being held in Spalding next week.
More than 20 organisations will be at the South Holland Centre on Wednesday, April 26 from 10am to 2pm.
They will be offering practical help and advice on how to cope with the cost-of-living crisis, benefits, mental and physical support as well as help for those struggling with loneliness and isolation.
The event is the latest open day travelling around Lincolnshire organised by the Spalding-based Veterans Support Service CIC (community interest company) which was founded by David Poultney who served 38 years in the RAF and Simon Hallam who was in the Army for 12 years (pictured).
A spokesman said: “The aim of the open day is to have a ‘one-stop-shop’ for veterans and their families to come along, have a brew and see what services are available.
Entry is free with tickets available to be booked online via Eventbrite.
