I find it so frustrating to see the local independents going on….I’ve just had a leaflet through my door from one of them.
This has come over a week after one from the Conservatives.
Bizarrely the independents are saying they are going to do the same as the Conservatives. Do they not have any new ideas for the town?
Seems to me they are also parading themselves as independent, yet clearly they are a political party. If they were genuinely independent then stand as one.
To be honest they will not get my vote as the current councillors seem to be doing an overall good job.
I would also suggest that people look where the candidates are getting their stuff printed. It would appear that independents like to support business outside ours. We have some good printers locally, yet they don’t appear to want to use them.
The independents talk about the good of the town yet don’t use the resources here. I say send the independents a message; if you are an independent then stand as one and you might get elected.
I will be voting for the status quo this time as i don’t trust the independents and they have no new or good ideas.
