Egg-cellent response to appeal

More than 250 Easter eggs were donated by generous South Holland residents to those who might otherwise not receive one, following an appeal by a local charity.

Ella’s Project teamed up with Nationwide’s Spalding branch as members of the public were asked to donate eggs.
They were passed on to social services to be handed out to children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Rebecca Newell, branch manager, said: “The response from customers and staff has once again been amazing with over 250 eggs being made available to the Easter bunny and our local children’s services.”
Mark Le Sage, the founder of Ella’s Project which is named after his daughter, said: “Our community is so kind and generous. It’s extremely rewarding to work in South Holland where the communities pull together to help each other out.”
