Lewy rides high for his football club

Young fundraiser Lewy Royle-Hutson has completed his sponsored cycle ride to raise money for a football club.

He completed a total of 5.4 miles in just 50 minutes to boost the coffers of his club, Spalding Under-6s.
His parents, Ellis and Brett, and big brother Theo (10), cycled alongside him to keep the big-hearted five-year-old motivated.
The group was met at the finish line by younger brother Rowan, family members and friends who cheered him on.
“We don’t have a final figure yet as some sponsors are still incoming and we would like to surprise his manager Albie Parker when we have the total.
“We will say it is an incredible amount, we never thought he would raise as much money as he has. It will be a huge help for the team to get the equipment they need.
“We are very proud parents and so grateful for all of the sponsors and support he has received. It’s honestly amazing,” said his mum.
