One-man play brings Nelson to life

Amidst the shot, smoke and din of battle, a surgeon, a midshipman, a gunner and a powder monkey aboard HMS Victory strive to destroy the Combined Fleet of France and Spain. Their fate – and that of their country – lies in the hands of one man – Horatio Nelson.

At the South Holland Centre on Thursday at 7.30pm Nicholas Collett will play 16 characters in this thrilling portrayal of Royal Navy life in 1805.

Nelson – The Sailors’ Story takes you right to the heart of Trafalgar and lets you meet the man who caused so much controversy, whilst writing himself into the history books as one of Britain’s greatest heroes.

Tickets are £12.50, £11 concessions, £7.50 under 26s from the Box Office 01775 764777 or www.southhollandcentre.co.uk
