Man (50) charged with rape and strangulation offences

A 50-year-old man has been charged with the rape of a woman over 16 and two counts of intentional strangulation.

Zbigniew Kaczmaek, of Carrington Road, Spalding, was arrested on December 15 in relation to an incident that happened in Spalding on the day of the arrest.
He was interviewed, charged and remanded to appear at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, December 19.
A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police said: “If you’ve been the victim of rape or sexual assault, please report it to us as soon as possible.
“Even if you’re not 100 per cent sure, we want to hear from you so that we can make sure you’re safe.
“If you’re not ready to talk to the police just yet, that’s OK.”
