Man (27) in court over raping young boy and other historic sexual offences charges

A former Spalding man has appeared in court at Boston on historic sex offending allegations said to have taken place when he was between the ages of only 12 and 15 years old.

Sean Paul Jeynes, 27, formerly of Braydon Close but now living in Birmingham, faces one allegation of rape of a boy under 13, six allegations of assaulting a boy under 13 by touching, two of assaulting a boy
under 13 by penetration and one of inciting a boy under 13 to engage in sexual activity.

All the offences are said to have taken place in Spalding and to have been committed between January 1 2008 and December 31 2008 and are understood to have involved more than one boy.

Jeynes was sent for trial at Lincoln Crown Court with a first appearance on May 4.

He was granted conditional bail and indicated he would be denying the offences.
