Lincoln A sign off in style

The final week of the Hereward Sports Pinchbeck & District Summer League season saw Division A champions Lincoln Arms A sign off in style with an impressive 23-4 win over their C team.
There was a 180 for Steve Stancer and an 18-dart leg with his partner Paul Blow in their pairs game. Player of the season Jimmy Tenno hit a 16-dart leg in his 3-0 singles win.
Runners up Services Club B also had a good 19-8 home win against Consti Club Z. Calum Ward had an 18-dart leg for the Consti in his 3-0 singles victory over Ben Chester.
Services won the last three matches all 3-0 thanks to Ady Smith, Steve Rawding and Dave Norbury to seal the convincing win.
In the Consti Club derby it was the C team who pipped their B team 14-13, thanks to a last match 2-1 win for Paul Faulkner against Stu Ewins. Scott Lawrence for the B side and Josh Faulkner for the C team both hit 180s. The C side’s Harry Faulkner had an 18-dart leg but suffered a 2-1 loss to Matt Broderick.
Green Dragon A completed their season with a fine 18-9 away win at the Lincoln Arms D.
Only two games were played in Division B. Drayman’s Arms B, whose game was postponed, were crowned champions without throwing a dart. Royal Mail Cart’s outside chance of taking the title evaporated with an 18-9 loss at Green Dragon Z.
The other game saw Consti Club A complete their best season for many years by beating bottom side Drayman’s Arms A 18-9. Mark Culy was the only loser, missing out 2-1 to Morgan Sandison.
