LETTERS – We have offered to help

When we moved here almost 15 years ago, we didn’t realise there was a huge feral cat population.
We ended up taking care of 35 cats.
The RSPCA came round, looked at some of the kittens and said they had conjunctivitis and they would put them to sleep.
We refused and paid our vet to treat them and they had 13 years of life.
We have offered our help to Cats’ Protection and the RSPCA but no one has taken us up on our offer.
Considering how they advertise and say how stretched these companies are and are desperate, why haven’t they contacted us?
We are registered at a local vet, all our cats are treated regularly and there is no issues. So why are these so called charities not taking people up on help?
