LETTERS – Why is it unsafe now?

I saw the artI saw the article about the A17 tyre waste bins and think it’s really bad that these people who go out of their way to make the countryside clean are being shut down because of health and safety.
We will now see, in the summer months as the holiday traffic starts, rubbish appearing in the laybys or fields, dirty nappies, fast food packages and bottles of urine left by lorry drivers.
At least these tyre bins worked and kept the areas clean.
Between Gedney and Sutton Bridge just three rubbish bins are supplied by council which already full.
Andy and Deanne did a good job for five years how come it’s unsafe now?
