With regard to the opinions about Spalding swimming pool voiced in last week’s paper, can I add mine?
I have stopped going because of its filthy conditions. Floors, toilets, poolside all being dirty, showers not working and water cold. It is really unpleasant.
It is such a shame it has been allowed to be neglected by the council.
They wasted millions on the food building in town and lost millions by discount selling it to Boston College…. what a waste of money and was anyone accountable for this? Just Gary Porter getting a knighthood!
Why wasn’t this money ploughed into the swimming pool and let us Spalding people have a lovely recreational facility for once?
