Charity puts on final advice sessions

A South Holland charity is putting on free money advice sessions for 15 to 20-year-olds via an financial advice firm.

Project St Thomas has teamed up with Bingham-Woods to hold the sessions 4.30pm to 5.30pm on the last Thursday of every month at Project St Thomas Hall on St Thomas’s Road.

The first workshop will focus on understanding payslips, tax codes, tax calculations and National Insurance. No booking is required.

“Many young people enter adulthood without basic financial knowledge that can significantly impact their future,” said Tracey Carter, Relationship Manager at Project St Thomas. “These workshops aim to equip our local youth with practical skills they may not learn in traditional education settings.”

Jonathan Bingham, director at Bingham-Woods Independent Financial Advisors Ltd, said: “We’re proud to support these workshops that will give local young people the knowledge they need to navigate their financial futures with confidence.”
