Parents and carers now have access to a wealth of information thanks to the school nursing section of the Lincolnshire Healthy Families website, part of Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS).
The school nursing service offers support and advice to children and young people in a variety of locations whether they attend a mainstream school, or other types of education, such as home education.
Wendy Burton, locality lead at LCHS, said: “The development of the website means that parents can now access detailed information on what our school nursing service provides, as well as useful content on immunisations, health and well-being, and parenting and behaviour.”
The school nursing section is the latest addition to the website which already offers information on a variety of topics including breastfeeding, maternal mental health and children’s therapy.
