Jobs fair proves popular

Around 550 people visited the annual South Holland Jobs Fair on Tuesday, May 1.

The popular event held at The Castle Sports Complex, is organised by South Holland District Council and the Department for Work and Pensions.

“It was great to see so many people attending, and finding out more about the employment and training opportunities in our district,” said Coun Nick Worth, the district council’s portfolio holder for growth and commercialisation.

“There was lots of ideas if you want training for career development, or if you’d like to see what other employment options are available.”
