A road that’s been closed for months has finally re-opened.
Work to repair the collapsing Boston Road South has now been completed and is open to traffic.
Large holes appeared in the road in March, and work was suspended until earlier this month as Anglian Water said it prioritised other works during the coronavirus lockdown.
It led to annoyance for motorists and those who live along the diversion route who experienced large vehicles driving down their road.
But the work was finally completed over the weekend.
An Anglian Water spokesperson said: “Our teams have successfully completed repairs to the sewer pipe on Boston Road in Holbeach.
“We’d like to thank all the local residents and road users for their patience and understanding while we completed these vital repairs.”
