Holbeach and Pinchbeck sidelined

Holbeach United and Pinchbeck United were both left kicking their heels at the weekend after their Thurlow Nunn League Division One North matches were postponed due to the wintry weather.

It left Holbeach unable to build on their six-match unbeaten run that has seen them close the gap on the play-off places to eight points.
The Tigers return to action on Saturday with a trip to Ipswich-based Whitton United, while Pinchbeck manager Lewis Thorogood is trying to arrange a friendly to fill a blank date in their calendar.
After suffering two defeats in three days over the Christmas period, the Knights are not due to be in action again until they make the short trip to FC Peterborough on January 18.
The Knights have
re-signed Archie Moyses. The former Lincoln City junior will add depth to their defensive line.
n Pinchbeck are holding a grassroots junior development six-a-side tournament on Saturday and Sunday, May 3 and 4 at their traditional Glebe Field base in the village.
The Knights Trophy and Knights Shield is for teams of u8, u9, u10 and u11 boys and u9 and u11 girls.
Entry is £45 per team – email pinchbeckunited footballclub@gmail.com for details.
