Garage destroyed in one of two call outs for fire crew

Spalding Fire Crew has been called out to two blazes in the town this afternoon (Thursday, April 8).

A garage and its contents, two sheds and a fence suffered severe damage in a fire on St Andrews Road reported around midday.

Deeping Fire and Rescue crew also attended the incident that also led to severe smoke damage to an adjoining garage.

At 3.10pm Spalding were called out again to a hedgerow on fire at the rear of Albion Street.

It was extinguished using one hose reel.
