Fundraiser for daughter of woman found dead in Spalding property

Staff at a Spalding supermarket have launched a fundraiser for the five-year-old daughter of a woman who police believe was murdered.

Stacey Nicholls, who works at Lidl on Winsover Road, says Kristine Sparane used to come in every day with her child Mary.

Kristine Sparane.

Kristine, 37, was found dead at a property just yards away from the store on Tuesday night (November 26).

A 64-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

“We are all heartbroken by the sad news that Kristine passed away earlier this week, leaving her little girl Mary who is only five,” the page states. “I’m sure everyone in the area has seen them, more often than not, whether it’s in the shop on a daily basis to buy her doughnuts and croissants or the local takeaway where she would stop by on her way home because they would give Mary a sweetie.

“I work at the local supermarket where she would come by every evening, we all knew them very well and this is hard for us all to comprehend.

“This money will go for Mary, her family and carers would greatly appreciate the help to provide her with the necessities that she needs.

“RIP Kristine, always in our hearts.”❤️

Police are still searching the property where Kristine’s body was found today (Friday).

Several floral tributes have also been left at the scene.
