Fitness guru Tracey in line for an award

A fitness instructor credited with helping hundreds of women get fit and healthy is the latest nominee for our Pride of South Holland Awards.

Tracey Vowels, of Spalding-based Fitness Company, has been nominated for a Lifetime Achievement Award by Sarah Bycraft and friends Julie, Heather, Lisa and Annabel after spending more than 20 years helping others in a number of ways.

They said: “We believe she deserves this award as she is responsible for motivating and getting the ladies of South Holland fit and healthy.

“She has been doing this for the past 20 years plus.

“She supports, advises and puts so much time into various charities and groups, including Weight Watchers.

“She has turned many lives around and given them motivation for a healthier lifestyle.”

Tracey’s nomination will now be passed to Lifetime Achievement category sponsors, FESA, who will draw up a shortlist to go before a judging panel, who will choose the winners in all nine categories.

Winners and guests will be invited to a ticket-only event at Spalding’s South Holland Centre on July 11, where they will be presented with trophies and certificates.
