Classic Curtains branching out

Pinchbeck firm Classic Curtains is branching out with a new range of services including paint, wallpaper and bespoke soft furnishings.

The business, which has been trading from its Cresswell Close address for 25 years, came under new ownership in December when Lisa Woodcock and Mark Slater took over.

The company already specialised in curtains, blinds, pelmets, cushions, bed runners and trimmings but Mark and Lisa wanted to offer more.

Along with adding to the range of products and services available, Classic Curtains has been accepted as a member of the Association of Master Upholsterers and Soft Furnishers which means the firm can offer practically every fabric available including Ashley Wilde, JAB, Morris and Co, Sanderson, Zoffany and everything in between.

Lisa said: “We are the only local retailer where you can see the open plan workroom that your curtains will be made in.

“We have an open shop and customers love the fact they can see them being made.

“Also we are the only local outlet selling Little Greene paint and wallpaper and we have been trained by the Little Greene company.”
