Firefighters called after puppy gets stuck in plant pot holder

Firefighters have had to cut a puppy out of a plant pot holder.

Spalding Fire Crew was called to Ash Close this morning at 11.48am this morning (October 12) after 15 week old Labradoodle Elvis got his head stuck in a metal plant pot holder.

Crews used a Holmatro cutter to release the puppy.

A spokesman for Spalding Fire Crew, said: “The crew from Spalding were mobilised this morning to poor Elvis, a 15 week old Labradoodle, who managed to get his head stuck in a metal plant pot holder.

“We’re extremely pleased to report that Elvis was quickly released be the crew using Holmatro equipment and was running around the garden looking for his next adventure within minutes of the emergency call.”
