Fresh from a further successful production at Opera North, soprano Lesley Garrett returns to the recital stage with special guest, British baritone Roland Wood, who made his debut at the Royal Opera, Covent Garden.
Together with pianist Anna Tilbrook they present a varied programme of popular arias and songs, including some of Mozart’s best-loved works from The Magic Flute and The Marriage of Figaro and stirring British music from Vaughan Williams.
They will also perform summery Gershwin and classics from the greatest musicals of the 20th century, featuring Rodgers and Hammerstein and Cole Porter.
