Enjoying a winter wonderland

A blast of winter brought fun and games for residents across South Holland over the weekend.

Everyone seemed keen to make the most of some lockdown snow and home-schooling was temporarily suspended while building snowmen was the order of the day.

Several centimetres fell across Lincolnshire and carpeted the landscape.
Voice readers sent in pictures of the frosty fun.

Freezing conditions continued into the start of this week, but milder air is due for Thursday when heavy rain is forecast to move in.

The weekend looks chilly once again, but at the time of going to press frost is more likely than snow on Saturday night when temperatures will drop below freezing.
