A South Holland family believe they could be the most vaccinated family in the country after they were called to have their COVID-19 vaccines on the same day.
Wendy Rate and her daughter Zoe, who work at West Elloe pharmacy in Spalding, were called to go for the first round of the vaccine at Springfields on Friday, January 22.
And on the same day, just up the road at Wyberton, Wendy’s 86-year-old mum Joyce Lee, of Holbeach, received her first dose.
Wendy said: “The whole process was very efficient, safe and painfree!
“I was very happy to be taking my mum but when we got ours I was thrilled as my eldest daughter who is a nurse in Leicester received hers last week.
“Because of COVID this is the closest we’ve felt for a year!
“We’re probably the most vaccinated family.”
