Car drives through gates in West Pinchbeck police chase

A car used by suspected hare coursers was driven through three sets of metal gates near West Pinchbeck as it looked to escape the police on Wednesday, December 27.

The Honda CR-V was eventually found abandoned near to Willow Tree Fen Nature Reserve.

The offenders had left a lurcher behind which is being looked after in kennels while the dog’s owners are traced.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police, said: “Anyone that witnessed hare coursing in the area, has images of the people involved, or was visiting the Willow Tree Fen Nature Reserve at Tongue End at around 3.30pm is asked to contact PC James Perring at Spalding Police Station, quoting Incident 239 of 27 December.”
