New homes above town centre business

Plans have been submitted to create three flats above a town centre business in Spalding.

The application is to create the accommodation above the Spalding News in the town’s Market Place.
Documents with the application say the disused first, second and third floors will be converted into flats.
The business will remain although the shopfront will change to allow a separate access. The building is Grade II Listed and in need of ‘much repair work,” say the plans.
