Pizza Express looks set to open a new branch at Springfields Shopping Outlet.
The company has applied for planning permission for proposed signage at the property formerly known as The Kitchen.
The documents for the application that have so far been uploaded to South Holland District Council’s website show the Pizza Express logo and name would be placed on the building.
The documents state that the applicant is Pizza Express Restaurant Ltd with Butler Associates Ltd working as its agent.
A spokesman for Pizza Express said: “We’re always exploring opportunities to bring our iconic pizzas and famous Dough Balls to more communities.
“As with all potential locations, we’re currently reviewing options in various locations, including Spalding, as part of our regular planning process.
“We look forward to sharing news of any confirmed openings on our social channels.”
