Alan Lambert from the windmill was among those in attendance.
“Attracting 8,000 to 10,000 visitors each year, Moulton Windmill is a registered charity run entirely by dedicated volunteers,” he said. “For the past 20 years, visitor books have overflowed with praise and compliments from near and far.
“With knowledgeable guides, a beautiful setting, excellent accessibility, and a charming tearoom, it offers a truly memorable experience for everyone who visits”.
There was also a Lifetime Achievement acknowledgment for Nigel Burch, the economic development and inward investment manager at South Holland District Council.
He’s been with the authority for more than 19 years having previously been with Robinson Bros as a partner from almost straight out of school.
Simon Beardsley, chief executive of the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce, said: “We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who took the time to put forward an entry—winners, shortlisted businesses, and all those who applied.
“Your commitment and enthusiasm make these awards possible.
“South Holland is full of remarkable people and organisations delivering outstanding service, and tonight gives us the opportunity to shine a spotlight on that excellence.
“It’s an honour for the Chamber to provide a stage where local businesses can celebrate their accomplishments.
“Our sincere thanks go to our headline sponsor, Freshlinc, whose support has been instrumental in bringing this event to life.
“We’re also deeply appreciative of every sponsor involved.
“Your contributions make all of this achievable, and we look forward to working together again in the years ahead.”
