Pinchbeck first to return to action

With the dust barely settled on last season’s campaign, a new one starts next Wednesday, 7.30pm, when Pinchbeck United welcome Sleaford Town to Knight Street for their first warm-up match, ahead of their debut in the Eastern Counties League.

Their new Division One North rivals Holbeach United open their pre-season campaign on Saturday, July 6 at Lincoln United, a week before Spalding United play host to Boston United for their first friendly.
The Tulips added another player to their squad for their Southern Premier League debut this week, snapping up former Watford and Rotherham United youth player Tyrone Lewthwaite from Kettering Town, where he scored 12 times in 35 games last season.
The 23-year-old powerful striker has also played for Bracknell Town, Aylesbury, Chesham United, Beaconsfield Town, Bedford Town and AFC Rushden & Diamonds and is a Northern Ireland u19 international.
Competitive action for GCE Hire Fleet Peterborough League champions Moulton Harrox starts on Friday, August 2, when they take on Oakham United in the League Cup final at Blackstones in Stamford, KO 7.45pm.
Before that they have friendlies to play at FC Fishtoft on July 20, and at home to Boston United u19s on July 24 and against Parson Drove a week later.
Pre-season training starts at Moulton on Tuesday, July 2, 7pm.
