Latest wildlife talk is on point

A former ranger at a National Trust nature reserve in Norfolk will be putting on the South Holland branch of the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust’s monthly talk next week.

Ajay Tegala will be delivering a presentation entitled The Unique Life of a Ranger on Blakeney Point at Pinchbeck Village Hall on Tuesday (November 14) running from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.

Coming up next month is a talk on Wild Kazakhstan by Roger Wardle on December 12 followed by Gardening for Wildlife by Ashley Reaney on January 9, a History of Wildlife and The Fens by Geoff Lee on February 13, Dragonflies and Damselflies Through The Seasons by Trish Thompson on March 12 and Nicholas Watts talking about Italy as part of the branch’s AGM on April 9.

Entry to all the talks is £2 and includes refreshments served halfway through. A raffle will also be drawn.

There will be the opportunity to ask the speaker questions at the end of the presentation.

The branch is also holding a coffee morning, also at Pinchbeck Village Hall, 10am to 12pm. Entry is £3 which includes refreshments as well.

Stalls will include bulbs and plants, bird seed , cards, bric-a-brac and book stall, a watch group for children, raffle and 50/50.
