Holbeach United have began to unveil their team for the new campaign after starting pre-season with a win.
The Tigers won 2-1 at Blackstones on Saturday with Aaron Pike and Jordan Oldham netting.
The latter is one of those Holbeach have announced has definitely signed on for the new campaign in the Thurlow Nunn league.
Manager Danny Clifton said: “I am so pleased Jordan is staying with us.
“He is such a talent and has had offers but it’s a measure of his character and attitude that he is repaying the faith put in him for another year.
Also resigning are Luke Nicholson and Sam Carter.
“Sam is improving all the time,” continued Clifton. “He’s good with the ball and will be key to the team.
“Nico is a leader and warrior on the pitch and has Holbeach blood running through his veins.”
l Pinchbeck United were due to start their pre-season last night as they welcomed Nettleham Town to Knight Street.
The club also have matches lined up against Holbeach on Saturday in a 3pm kick off at the same venue. They’re then set to play an XI from Notts County, who are newly back in the National League on Tuesday, July 11. The game, which is again at Knight Street, kicks off at 7pm.
