250 thanks for the music

There was plenty of Thank Yous for the Music as a community concert proved a huge hit and saw the Money, Money, Money roll in for good causes.

Pinchbeck Community Hub welcomed Planet Abba to the village to play a candlelight concert at St Mary’s Church.

John Smith from the hub said that 250 people were in attendance.

“The event was organised to bring the community together and make use of this amazing venue,” he said. “It was a wonderful night and everyone enjoyed themselves.

“The event sold out within days of announcing the tickets and everyone who came is asking for a repeat.”

In total £3,000 was raised for good causes.

“Half of the proceeds will go towards upkeep of the church and the remaining funds will be given to Pinchbeck Community Land Trust to distribute to local good causes.”
