Young stars urged to sign up for challenge

Spalding Library has launched its Star Challenge aimed at pre-school pupils.

Collect a Library Star Challenge booklet and each time you visit your child can collect a colourful star sticker.

Once they have collected all the stars they will get a certificate and special prize!

Amanda Reynolds, library manager at Spalding Library, said: “It’s free to join and use the library and your little one can have their own card from the day they are born!

“You can borrow up to 30 books at any one time, so bedtime stories can be a new adventure every night.

“We also run activities just for little ones such as Story and Rhyme Times.”
