Sunday saw Tydd Gote Angling Club host the prestigious Mega Mania final.
Qualifiers from as far afield as Boston and Ramsey, as well as a strong local contingent, converged on the North Level Drain to compete for the lucrative cash prizes on offer.
Top weight went to local rod Dave Williams with a big tench and some rudd for 6lb 13oz from peg 12.
He was followed by venue expert Archie Greenwood on 29 with a lovely net of roach totalling 5lb 4oz.
Andrew Kilby, on 23, and last year’s winner John Bates at the far end on 34 fought it out for third and fourth with Kilby just edging it with 3lb 10oz to 3lb 9oz.
