‘We haven’t had answers over litter’

Residents from Ayscough Avenue in Spalding spoke to The Voice last week about the accumulation of waste on their street- a problem they have been fighting for more than a decade.

This week, Ken Ward of Ayscough Avenue said he wasn’t happy with the response given by South Holland District Council: “We haven’t had any answers,” he said.

“Where can we go from here?

“The council has to show its authority.”

South Holland District Council will discuss the matter at a meeting today (Thursday).

Ken added: “We want to dig our heels in.

“We’re not going anywhere.”
