Wander around winter wonder

Springfields’ ever popular Winter Wonderland Walk is back in just a few days time.

From November 6 visitors will be able to get a taste of the Christmas spirit in an event running until January 5.
The charity that will benefit this year is the Lincolnshire Lowland Search and Rescue.
A spokesman for Springfields Shopping Outlet said: “Filled with picture-perfect moments, this years’ experience is the longest walk ever at over a third of a mile long. It has been designed to include brand-new zones inspired by the magic of winter and the festive season.
“There will be plenty of selfie opportunities along the way, guaranteed to help families get into the Christmas mood including new giant ‘Selfie Stars’.
“A selection of family favourites will be making their return including the Neon Tunnel, a Giant Bauble and the Momotaro Garden, providing a tranquil trail that meanders through a traditional Japanese design show garden.
Springfields’ facilities and special projects manager Jackie Sawyers comments: “The Winter Wonderland Walk has been a Springfields tradition for over ten years, and is a must-see for families every year here in Spalding as part of the Christmas shopping experience.
“Our longest and best walk yet promises to be unforgettable with new light features, whilst benefiting our charity of the year.”
Tickets are £5 for adults and £1 for children with discounts available for Springfields VIP customers purchasing two or more tickets for November sessions.
